Sisačko – Moslavačka County
Center of the Sisačko – Moslavačka County is Sisak, and the rest big towns are Glina, Hrvatska Kostajnica, Kutina, Novska and Petrinja. Smaller communities are Donji Kukuruzari, Dvor, Gvozd, Hrvatska Dubica, Jasenovac, Lekenik, Lipovljani, Majur, Martinska Ves, Popovača, Sunja, Topusko and Velika Ludina. The county is located between Karlovačka, Zagrebačka, Bjelovarsko – Bilogorska, Požeško – Slavonska and Brodsko – Posavska County. It is also on the border with Bosnia and Herzegovina.
This county has a strong processing industry. In Petrinja is based the largest Croatian oil processing company “INA”. In Sisak is a familiar ironworks. People from these parts have always been admirers of a good drink so they have grown very large vineyards with good quality wines. In Kutina is petrochemical industry for producing fertilizers. |
